According to the National Association of Realtors FHA has announced that its capital reserve fund has fallen below the congressionally mandated level of 2 percent. This change has led to Congress and the Administration to call for changes to strengthen FHA.

These major changes taking place are intended to help insure long-term financial soundness. If you are looking to buy a home these changes may affect your purchase.
